Pastelitos are little fried bundles of joy, stuffed with chicken or beef which are served with curtido, a pickled topping.

Salvadoran enchilada, a tostada-like Hollywood production featuring crisp, cloudlike tortillas topped , enough to feed two easily, fried beans and cheese , and Salvadoran guacamole (avocados, red onion, cilantro, lime juice, tomatoes, salt, pepper and jalapeņo pepper).
